A Korean woman in her 50's who had been on a long business trip to Indonesia made an extreme choice, leaving a note questioning whether she was infected with a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

Indonesian police said on Wednesday that after taking a post-mortem sample and examining it, they found out that Corona-19 was negative.

According to the Korean Embassy in Indonesia and the Korean Post, a 57-year-old woman who arrived in Indonesia on Wednesday and was on a business trip to a clothing company in Java Island, was found dead at a hotel on Sunday.

Local police determined that there was no suspicion of murder in the hotel room, given that there was no sign of outside invasion.

Her handwritten memo found at the scene reportedly showed signs of agonizing over whether she was infected with Corona19.

She returned to South Korea on Jan. 22 from a business trip in Dalian, China, according to the memo.

She wrote down her track record by date. "I woke up in the morning and had a slight pain in my throat." and "I'm recommending a health center guide and visiting a hospital near Hansung University" on Feb. 9.

She also left a trace of "Cold Medicine and Pharmacy Mask" on Feb. 14 and "Call an ancient Anam Clinic → No need to be examined → You will be exposed to more danger."

On the 16th when she left for Indonesia, she wrote, "Incheon Airport 2, taxi drivers, and boarding across from Seongbuk-gu Office."

However, it was found that A had not been tested for Corona-19 prior to her death.

Her family and company officials tested her first and tested her negative after the incident, followed by negative results.

An embassy official said, "The motive is not clear why we even made extreme choices when we put together the bereaved families' statements."
